Born from Hives, Built for Community.
SAVAGE BEE-CHES started with a simple belief: honey should taste like somewhere. That somewhere might be a Hawaiian rainforest, an Oregon meadow, a California chaparral canyon, or the high desert sage above San Diego — each jar carries the bloom, elevation, and season it came from. Founder Kemi Pavlocak began with her own hives in Ramona and Ranchita, learning that each bloom, each elevation, each season pulls something different out of the land.
She brought that obsession back to Old Town and built San Diego's only dedicated honey shop around it. Today the boutique carries 25+ raw honey varietals from across California and other states, hosts honey tastings in San Diego, and supplies the cafes, hotels, and gift programs that want something real on their shelves.
