Primarily across San Diego County and California—from trusted apiaries and our own hives. And we also go 'honey hunting' to discover unique varietals across the county -with special, limited drops like our Hawaii Coffee Honeycomb when the season allows. This requires cooperation and collaboration with numerous beekeepers and farms. Each jar highlights terroir: soil, bloom, and microclimate.

Because bees can forage far beyond any one farm’s boundaries—often 1–3 miles or more—it’s not realistic for most beekeepers to guarantee that every flower visited is from certified-organic land. Instead, SAVAGE BEE-CHES practices natural, bee-friendly beekeeping and avoids synthetic chemicals or harmful substances in our hives and processing. We keep our honey minimally processed (strained, not ultra-filtered; never high-heat pasteurized) so you taste true, raw California terroir.
